	Roy Sommerville Senior Pastor Roy has been married to Belinda for over 40 years and the Lord has blessed them with 4 children and 5 grandchildren, with another on the way. Roy was born and raised in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and worked at the world famous Harland and Wolffe Shipyard, home of the great ocean liner, Titanic. Roy likes to point out that he, personally, did not work on it, and there was nothing wrong with it when it left the dry dock in Belfast. He immigrated to Canada in 1979, where he became an apprentice Tool and Die Maker and had to learn how to speak the Queen's English in a way that could be understood. He met the Lord Jesus Christ in November of 1980 and has been grateful for that day ever since, and considers it the smartest choice he ever made. The second smartest was marrying Belinda in 1985. He has never regretted either decision ever since. Roy got his education at Central Baptist Seminary, Tyndall Theological Seminary, University of Waterloo and has a Doctor of Ministry Degree from Canadian Theological Seminary in Regina. He began full time ministry as a Youth pastor at Fellowship Baptist Church in Markham, Ontario in 1986, and started a Church planting work in the Malvern area of Toronto in 1990. He began his current ministry as Senior Pastor at Queensway Baptist Church in 1999. Roy loves the Lord Jesus Christ more than life itself. He considers preaching and teaching the good news of the Gospel and the Scriptures, in over 3000 sermons, to be the greatest privilege in the world. And preaching to the faithful folks at Queensway Baptist church for 27 years, he considers a double blessing. His life's work, in the words of the Apostle Paul, is to be "in labour until Christ be formed in us."
	Maria Diaz Spanish and Seniors Coordinator Maria has been on staff at QBC since 2010 and runs our Spanish and Seniors Ministries. She is gifted in evangelism and discipleship, and has a wonderful heart to see unchurched people discover the majesty and magnificence of our Lord Jesus Christ. Maria was a missionary in Columbia for 10 years where she routinely travelled into the mountains, often alone, where she shared the Gospel and taught the Bible in remote villages. Maria runs our monthly Seniors' Lunch, a Spanish Sunday School class, a weekly Spanish Bible Study, a weekly Women's Bible Study, and various prayer ministries. Maria is also a wonderful example of lifestyle evangelism
	Eman Khan Children's Co-ordinator My name is Eman, and I am blessed to serve as the Children’s Ministry Coordinator at Queensway Baptist Church. I have always enjoyed working with children, and I believe God has given me a heart and a passion for serving and encouraging them. Through our Children’s ministry, I hope that every child will feel loved, and welcomed while learning about God and growing in their relationship with Him. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve the Lord and our Church by investing in the next generation.
	Marie Skidmore Office Administrator Marie has been on Staff at QBC since 2015, and keeps the Pastor and office organized. Anything the Pastor needs done that he can't do, he gives to Marie, and then forgets about it. That's how efficient she is. Any events that are planned through the year, chances are, Marie had something to do with it. The Pastor has never double booked any events, ever since she took over looking after the calendar. Marie and her husband, Mark, have 3 adult children. But don't get her started on their four grandchildren.
